SIOLIM: Siolim-based police successfully apprehended Vineesh Y. K., an absconding accused involved in a major LSD seizure case, following a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued by the ANC Police Station. The accused, a native of Kerala, is implicated in ANC PS Crime No. 13/2025 under sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 22(C), 8(c) read with 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985, involving the seizure of 110.70 grams of LSD liquid valued at Rs. 11.07 crore.
Vineesh was detained on December 7, 2025, at Bangalore Airport by the Bureau of Immigration (BOI) acting on the active LOC. A team from ANC Police Station traveled to Bangalore, obtained transit remand, and successfully brought the accused back to Goa.
The court has remanded Vineesh Y. K. to four days of police custody to facilitate further investigation into the case.
