PANAJI: Four alleged history-sheeters were apprehended by police late last night in St. Cruz, Tiswadi.
The accused have been identified as Anthony Nadar (31), son of Vargues, resident of St. Agustinho near Pitbul Gym, St. Cruz; Karim Bepari (35), son of Gani Bepari, resident of Ubodando, St. Cruz; Francis Nadar (28), son of Vargues, resident of St. Agustinho, St. Cruz; and Minguel Araujo (24), son of Joa, resident of St. Agustinho, St. Cruz.
On Thursday, the Deputy Collector of Tiswadi directed Anthony Nadar, Francis Nadar and Minguel Araujo to furnish a bond of ₹50,000 each. As they failed to comply, all three were remanded to five days’ judicial custody.
Accused Karim Bepari was released on a personal bond, officials said.
Police said further investigations are underway.
