CALANGUTE: Calangute Police successfully traced and arrested a Rajasthani criminal who had been at large for several months.
The Calangute Police Station team led by Police Inspector Paresh G. Naik arrested one notorious criminal from Kota, Rajasthan, namely Salman@Shafiq Mohammed s/o Abdul Hafeez, age 32 years r/o behind Chaman Hotel, Maypura Ladpura Kota Rajasthan, from Calangute.
Salman had arrived in the state as a tourist.
The accused person is involved in a very serious crime committed in Rajasthan using a firearm in which an offence has already been registered at Nayapur Police Station, Kota City, Rajasthan, and Rajasthan Police was searching him.
The accused person, after committing this crime, was at large and was successfully traced and arrested by Calangute Police Station staff.
