PANAJI: Goa DGP Alok Kumar today informed that Goa Police is totally ready to avoid and tackle any untoward incident during the festive season of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

He further said that additional forces will be deployed in places of large footfall in view of festive season.
“Strong and robust police arrangements to be made. I want to assure locals and tourists that Goa is safe” he added
Kumar also congratulated all the police teams for their efforts and excellent police protection during the ongoing Exposition of St Francis Xavier.
