CALANGUTE: The Goa Police has registered case of extortion against Devil’s club, Calangute, owner and bouncers over the extortion incident.
As per police, that on Wednesday a complaint was received in the incident of extortion by the staff of Devils Club at Calangute, Bardez Goa.
The Police Station has registered an offense u/s 392, 427 r/w 34 IPC against accused 1) Pailwan bouncer (details not known), 2) Rambo (details not known), 3) Virendra Gurudas Shirodkar and 4) Proprietor of Devils Bar & Restaurant.
Further during the course of investigation, accused named in FIR Rambo is identified as Raymond s/o Charlie Howse r/o n/o Jhansi who was traced and brought at Calangute Police Station and placed under arrest after observing all Supreme Court guidelines, whereas other co-accused involved in this case is at large.
Further investigation in respect of possible whereabouts of absconding accused person and gathering of evidence against the accused person including the banking transaction is in progress.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Kiran Naik under the Supervision of Police Inspector Paresh G Naik under the overall Supervision of SDPO Porvorim Vishwesh Karpe and SP North Nidhin Valsan, IPS.
