PANAJI: The Goa Cricket Association has announced the official schedule for the upcoming Goa Premier League 2025 to 26 season, which will run from March 21 to April 17 at venues across the state. The tournament will conclude with a day night final at the GCA Academy Ground using a pink ball.
The opening round will feature Panjim Gymkhana taking on Margao Cricket Club at the NAPEX Ground. On the same day, Salgaocar Cricket Club will face Dempo Cricket Club at the Sanguem GCA Ground, while Chowgule Sports Club will meet Geno Sports Club at the Panjim Gymkhana Ground.
Matches throughout the league stage will be played at several venues including the Panjim Gymkhana ground, Sanguem GCA ground, the GCA Academy ground at Porvorim, the Chicalim Sports Authority of Goa Ground, and the NAPEX ground. Each team will play five matches during the league phase, with the top two sides advancing to the final.
In the second round of fixtures from March 26 to 28, Salgaocar Cricket Club will face Chowgule Sports Club in Panaji, Panjim Gymkhana will play Geno Sports Club at Porvorim, and Dempo Cricket Club will meet Margao Cricket Club at the NAPEX ground.
The third round scheduled from March 31 to April 2 will see Chowgule Sports Club take on Dempo Cricket Club at Porvorim, Margao Cricket Club face Geno Sports Club at Sanguem, and Panjim Gymkhana meet Salgaocar Cricket Club at NAPEX.
Matches from April 5 to 7 will include Dempo Cricket Club against Geno Sports Club at NAPEX, Panjim Gymkhana against Chowgule Sports Club at Chicalim, and Margao Cricket Club facing Salgaocar Cricket Club at Porvorim.
The final league round from April 10 to 12 will feature Salgaocar Cricket Club playing Geno Sports Club at NAPEX, Chowgule Sports Club meeting Margao Cricket Club at Porvorim, and Dempo Cricket Club taking on Panjim Gymkhana in Panaji.
The top two teams at the end of the league stage will compete in the three day final from April 15 to 17 at the GCA Academy ground in Porvorim.
