PANAJI: Goa today reported 1540 new COVID-19 positive cases. While there 485 recoveries & 17 deaths reported today.
As per DHS bulletin, Covid claimed 17 more lives today taking the mortality count to 993.
LFour of the deceased are from Vasco. 10 death were recorded at South Goa District Hospital (SGDH) and 7 at GMC. T
Two of the 17 patients died within 24 hours and both were symptomatic for 3 days prior to reporting to the hospital informed DHS. A 75-year-old man from Vasco, 31-year-old man from Curtorim, 38-year-old man, 65-year-old man from Candolim, 45-year-old man from Mapusa, 65-year-old man, 70-year-old man from Tiswadi, 49-year-old man from Cansaulim, 61-year-old man from Bardez, 66-year-old man from Vasco, 68-year-old man from Vasco , 62-year-old man from Bardez, 87-year-old man from Mormugao, 42-year-old man from Betki, 75-year-old man from Pernem, 64-year-old man from Calangute and a 49-year-old man from Vasco died of covid in the last 24-hours.
