PANJIM: Goa saw its biggest one day spike in COVID19 cases with 547 new cases reported and three more deaths.
As per the health bulletin the death toll has now reached 178.
The confirmed cases are now 16553 and active cases are 3646. The recovered cases are 12,729.
A 70 year Male from Bicholim, admitted at Goa Medical College & Hospital, expired yesterday, 30 years Male from Old Goa, admitted at Goa Medical College & Hospital, with co-morbid conditions expired today another 68 years Male from Fatorda, admitted at ESI hospital, with co-morbid conditions expired today.
Out of 2823 Samples, 1942 are Negative, 547 are Positive – 341 Reports awaited. At present patients in Isolation wards- 118 and people quarantined at Various Residencies/Hotels are 31.
