PANAJI: The Department of BBA at SES’s Sridora Caculo College of Commerce and Management Studies held the second edition of its interview series Echoes of Experience on September 11, featuring entrepreneur Sairaj Dhond, founder and CEO of Wakao, a jackfruit-based food brand.
The session was conducted by BBA students Shreen Falari and Aditi Kadam. Dhond spoke about his transition from studying law to establishing Wakao, stressing the importance of branding, the challenges of entrepreneurship and the role of innovation in sustainable businesses.
Unlike conventional guest lectures, the series is designed and hosted by students to facilitate direct interaction with industry professionals.
The event was attended by BBA students, Vice Principal Smruti Borkar, Head of the BBA Department Sahil Nayak and faculty members. The department said the initiative reflects its focus on experiential learning and encouraging entrepreneurial thinking among students.
