PANAJI: Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar today confirmed Breach of Privilege against former minister Prakash Velip for making statement against him, while Assembly was in the session.
“I confirm Breach of Privilege against former minister Prakash Velip for making statement against him, while Assembly was in the session,’ said Tawadkar during Assembly session.
He further said that Velip would be summoned in the House. The Speaker also warned action media against printing/ broadcasting such defamatory statements.
Former Minister and UTAA president Prakash Velip said that various sorts of tactics are being adopted to target Gaude.
Velip said, “There are various types of events organised by different departments. Will there be inquiry into those departments as well? The fact is that the allegations against the minister are being made as there is frustration,” he said.
