Panjim: The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, is all set to showcase its pioneering tourism vision at the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Mumbai 2025, scheduled from 11th to 13th August at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
Building on the momentum of its recent Excellence Award win at TTF Ahmedabad 2025 for the acclaimed ‘Goa Beyond Beaches’ campaign, Goa will present a refreshed and immersive tourism narrative at TTF Mumbai. At the heart of this narrative is Regenerative Tourism – a model that emphasizes environmental responsibility, cultural preservation, and community engagement.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said,
“Goa is spearheading a paradigm shift in Indian tourism—from quantity to quality, from high season to year-round appeal, and from surface-level tourism to deeply immersive experiences. Our aim at TTF Mumbai is to amplify our vision of Regenerative Tourism—one that uplifts our communities, protects our ecology, and honours our heritage. Goa is more than just a destination—it is a living, breathing experience that must be preserved and celebrated.”
Director of Tourism, Shri Kedar Naik, elaborated on the state’s broader outreach goals:
“TTF Mumbai provides a platform to connect with the travel trade and build strategic partnerships aligned with Goa’s forward-thinking tourism roadmap. We are actively promoting alternative tourism models including monsoon adventures, heritage and spiritual circuits, wellness tourism, and community-driven homestays. Our objective is to build sustainable and responsible tourism that truly benefits the people of Goa.”
At TTF Mumbai 2025, the Goa Pavilion will serve as a vibrant showcase of the state’s new-age tourism approach, with features including:
• Campaign highlights from ‘Goa Beyond Beaches’
• Spiritual tourism under the Ekadasha Teertha circuit
• Wellness retreats and Ayurveda-based tourism
• Monsoon trekking and nature expeditions
• Expanding homestay network offering local and authentic Goan experiences
Tourism officials and key stakeholders from Goa will be present at the pavilion to engage with national and international trade partners, media representatives, and potential investors, reinforcing Goa’s growing reputation as a future-ready and sustainable tourism destination.
As Goa shifts gears from sun, sand, and sea to soulful, immersive experiences, its presence at TTF Mumbai 2025 aims to position the state as a model for inclusive, eco-conscious, and culturally rich travel.
