PANAJI: Goa Tourism concluded a highly successful participation at SATTE 2026, held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, with sustained interest from domestic and international tourism stakeholders across the three day exhibition. The Goa pavilion remained a focal point for buyers, tour operators, destination management companies, and travel trade professionals, reflecting growing confidence in the State’s evolving tourism strategy.
Throughout the event, the Goa Tourism delegation engaged in a wide range of business to business meetings and strategic discussions aimed at expanding partnerships in key source markets. Conversations centred on experiential travel, spiritual and cultural circuits, hinterland exploration, wellness retreats, adventure tourism, and year round offerings aligned with Goa’s Regenerative Tourism roadmap. The consistent footfall and quality interactions highlighted a shift in perception, with stakeholders showing interest beyond traditional beach tourism.
The Goa pavilion also featured strong participation from the private sector, with around 82 co exhibitors including hoteliers, tour operators, and destination management companies showcasing their products alongside the State delegation. This collective presence allowed Goa to present a comprehensive and integrated tourism portfolio, combining government initiatives with industry led experiences.
Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said the response at SATTE 2026 underlined Goa’s positioning as a progressive and resilient destination. He noted that the growing acceptance of the Regenerative Tourism approach demonstrates how community engagement, cultural preservation, environmental responsibility, and economic growth can move forward together. The partnerships strengthened at the exhibition are expected to support long term sustainable growth.
Director of Tourism Kedar Naik highlighted SATTE as an important platform for meaningful industry engagement, adding that the interest shown in Goa’s evolving tourism model reflects its appeal beyond conventional travel narratives.
Marking the successful participation, Goa Tourism received a participation memento in recognition of its active presence. As SATTE 2026 concluded, the State’s dynamic showcase reinforced its strategic focus on innovation, sustainability, and stronger trade partnerships, setting the stage for deeper collaboration and responsible tourism leadership in the years ahead.
