Panaji: The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, made a strong impact on the opening day of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Mumbai 2025, held from August 11 to 13 at the Jio World Convention Centre.
Goa Tourism highlighted its Regenerative Tourism vision with an engaging showcase of community-led projects, heritage village trails, cultural programs, and initiatives supporting local artisans and performers. Visitors experienced glimpses of Goa’s rich crafts, culinary traditions, and responsible tourism models aimed at transforming the state’s travel landscape.
Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said, “TTF Mumbai is an ideal platform to connect with industry stakeholders and share Goa’s vision for sustainable, year-round tourism that preserves nature, nurtures communities, and celebrates culture.”
Director of Tourism Kedar Naik emphasised the state’s evolving offerings beyond its beaches, showcasing opportunities for responsible travel throughout the year.
The pavilion drew notable visitors, including Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari, who interacted with Goa Tourism delegates Rajesh Kale, Chitra Vengurlekar, Chandrashekhar Kopardekar, Janvi Kharat, and other officials. The delegation also engaged with leading tour operators, media, and tourism boards to boost Goa’s domestic reach.
With its focus on culture, community, and conservation, Goa Tourism’s presence at TTF Mumbai 2025 reaffirmed the state’s commitment to building a tourism industry that is both inspiring and sustainable.
