PANAJI: The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, is set to participate in the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Ahmedabad 2025, scheduled from July 31 to August 2 at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar. As one of the country’s leading travel trade shows, TTF Ahmedabad presents an ideal platform for Goa to showcase its diverse tourism potential and strengthen its presence in key domestic markets.
Goa Tourism’s participation is aligned with its broader strategy to promote the state as a vibrant, responsible, and year-round destination, moving beyond its traditional image of beaches and nightlife. With Gujarat emerging as a major source market, the fair offers an important opportunity to engage with travel agents, tour operators, and other industry stakeholders to promote Goa’s evolving tourism profile.
At the Goa Pavilion, visitors will be introduced to the state’s multi-faceted offerings, including spiritual and wellness tourism, Ayurveda-based retreats, adventure activities, monsoon experiences, and eco-friendly travel options. A special focus will be placed on homestays and community-based tourism, which are gaining momentum under Goa’s inclusive and sustainable tourism policies.
The Department will also spotlight Goa’s vibrant cultural calendar, highlighting festivals such as Sao Joao, Chikhal Kalo, Spirit of Goa, Shigmo, and Carnaval—celebrations that attract culturally curious travellers seeking authentic local experiences.
Speaking ahead of the event, Shri Kedar Naik, Director of Tourism, Government of Goa, said:
“Our presence at TTF Ahmedabad supports Goa’s vision of promoting immersive and sustainable tourism. This is a chance to reconnect with our trade partners in Gujarat and invite travellers to explore the depth, diversity, and cultural richness of Goa across all seasons.”
The Department of Tourism invites travel professionals, media representatives, and attendees to visit the Goa Pavilion at TTF Ahmedabad 2025 to explore new partnerships and discover why Goa continues to be one of India’s most dynamic and sought-after destinations.
