PANAJI: Panaji Traffic Police has booked Chimbel resident for riding Motorcycle fitted with Modified Exhaust Silencer causing noise pollution.
Traffic cell said that regular drives are being launched on the menace of high speed bikes and as part of one such drive, Panaji TC has taken action on Rider of M/Cycle bearing reg No GA07J5239 (Kawasaki Ninja) namely Imran Kalburgi r/o Indira Nagar Chimbel.
The said person was found riding the vehicle fitted with Modified Exhaust Silencer causing noise pollution and was intercepted at Panaji.
Accordingly the rider was booked u/s 190(2) of MV Act (Standard Prescribed for Road Safety, Noise & Air Pollution) and the Motorcle was impounded.
