PANAJI: Goa University will be conducting selection trials to form its Football Men’s team for the upcoming Inter-University Championship 2025-26. The trials are scheduled for October 9, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
Interested students are required to report by 2:00 p.m. at the Sports Section of Goa University. Participants must carry their college identity card, Aadhaar card, birth certificate, and playing kit while attending the trials.
Colleges have also been requested to inform the Sports Section via email at sports@unigoa.ac.in in case any of their football players are unable to attend the trials. Valid reasons for absence will be considered during the selection process.
The initiative aims to put together a competitive university squad to represent Goa University in the prestigious inter-university football tournament.
The notification was issued by Mr. Balachandra B. Jadar, Member Secretary of the Sports Council and University Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University.
