PANAJI: Goa University has announced the selection and screening trials to form its Men’s and Women’s Kabaddi teams for the upcoming Inter-University Championship 2025-26. The trials will be conducted from among the players participating in the ongoing Goa University Inter-College Kabaddi Championship.
In addition, individual players whose colleges are not fielding Kabaddi teams in the championship will also be given an opportunity. Such players can report directly for the selection trials on September 5, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Goa University Campus, Taleigao Plateau. Players are required to be in full playing kit while attending the trials.
The Sports Section has also requested colleges to inform them via email at sports@unigoa.ac.in if any of their Kabaddi players are unable to attend the trials on the scheduled date, along with valid reasons for absence. This will ensure that deserving athletes are still considered for team selection.
