PANAJI: Goa University Won one silver and one bronze medal at the South West Zone Inter University Swimming Men and Women Championship 2023-24, organized by SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu from 2nd to 4th January 2024.
Both the medals were won by Ms. Megan De Almeida, Silver in Women Diving- 1 Meter Spring Board and Bronze in Women Diving- 1 Meter Spring Board.
Other top-notch performances came from Ms.Tanisha Murgod, who finished 16th in the 50 M Breaststroke Women, and Mr. Aryan Sharma who finished 10th in 800 M Freestyle Men and 13th in 400 M Freestyle Men.
Above mentioned Goa University swimmer has qualified for the All Inter University Swimming Men and Women Championship 2023-24 to be held at the same venue (Dates are yet to be announced.
