P.A.N.A.J.I.: Goa University won the West Zone Inter University Football Men Championship 2022-23, which was organised by Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, from 19-12-22 to 25-12-22. Goa University was top of the table with six points, followed by the University of Kota, Kota and L.N.I.P.E., Gwalior with four points each and host Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur with three points.
In the first match of the league, which was played on 24/12/2022, Goa University defeated the host university Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, 1-0. In a well-contested match, a lone goal was scored by Atmaram Jadhav in the 74th minute.
In the second and third matches of the league played on 25/12/2022, Goa University lost to the University of Kota, Kota, 2-0 and won the last match of the league, defeating L.N.I.P.E., Gwalior 3-0, a well dominated and organised play by the player netting three goals, one from Atmaram Jadhav and two great goals from Pushkar Prabhu.
