PANAJI: Goa’s Allen Pauly Payappilly has earned national recognition for his outstanding contributions to cyber safety, receiving an Award of Appreciation from the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Programme under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
As an ISEA Cyber Ambassador, Allen has led numerous Cyber Hygiene Practices Awareness Workshops for students, professionals, and community groups across Goa. His work has been instrumental in equipping citizens with essential knowledge to navigate the digital space safely, reinforcing India’s broader cybersecurity framework.
The award was conferred at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, during a high-profile event attended by directors of several IITs, MeitY officials, and representatives from CDAC Hyderabad. The national gathering celebrated individuals whose efforts have significantly advanced cybersecurity education and awareness across the country.
Allen’s recognition underscores Goa’s growing role in supporting national cyber safety initiatives and highlights the impact of young leaders in fostering a secure digital environment. His ongoing commitment continues to promote responsible online practices and strengthen the state’s contribution to building a resilient Digital Bharat.
