SOLAN: Winners and medalists of Goa State in the 11th National Level KUDO Championship held in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh called on Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. They apprised the Governor about the Championship and shared their experiences in Himachal Pradesh.
The Governor applauded all the players on winning medals and said that sports have played an important role in the life of individuals. It would be helpful in providing physical as well as mental strength, he added. He wished all the players a bright future and hoped that such a national competition should also be organized in Goa, which would add to the interest of the young generation towards sports like martial arts.
About 1500 participants from 28 states and union territories had participated in the national level KUDO competition which was held from 2nd to 7th September 2021.
