BICHOLIM: Bicholim police have arrested a 25-year-old Dalvi from Satara, Maharashtra, for allegedly cheating a woman from Goa out of 18.99 lakh.
A Bicholim resident filed a complaint, which led to the arrest. The police investigation claims that Dalvi deceived Gawas, a woman from Bicholim, by offering lucrative returns in exchange for the delivery of goods.
As per the information, she went to the Bicholim Police Station and officially complained after discovering she had been duped.
The police successfully located and apprehended Dalvi, the suspected culprit, in Satara with the use of technological surveillance and persistent efforts.
Dalvi is wanted in relation to other cases, including one at Cancona Police Station, it was further disclosed.
