    Goa’s first electric-cum-solar ferry boat commenced operations today. The passenger ferry will ply between Panaji and Chorao. The 60-passenger capacity ferry will make 4 trips per day, and the rides will be free for one month. After that, the government will decide on the charges and inform officials. The ferry covers Panaji to Chorao distance in about 20 minutes. The ferry was officially launched in mid-October 2022.
