VALPOI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has said that the State government is committed to reshaping the Goa Model of healthcare by ensuring that medical services are delivered in a way that truly eases the lives of people.
Speaking about the newly developed Physiotherapy Centre at CHC Valpoi, Rane said families can now access advanced physiotherapy support within their own community. The centre offers specialised care in post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal treatment, post-surgical recovery and paediatric therapy — sparing patients the hardship of long-distance travel and delays in treatment.
“This progress reflects the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s vision of Antyodaya — reaching the last person at the last mile — by building a healthcare system that is both affordable and accessible, truly transforming lives across communities,” Rane stated.
