BENAULIM: National Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party, Pankaj Gupta, launched a frontal attack on the BJP Govt of Goa while speaking at a well-attended meeting of the party’s constituency coordinators and elected representatives.
Gupta, who is visiting Goa after being appointed as Prabhari for the state, asserted that Goa is being destroyed by the BJP Govt, pointing to the rampant corruption at every level, whether land conversion scam, job scam, tourism scam. Gupta said the BJP Govt is so corrupt that it did scams even with Covid relief funds while many Goans were fighting for their lives.
Gupta praised the two AAP MLAs stating that they had proved themselves since the last election by working hard and by not betraying their voters. Gupta said that Goa is ready to have an honest Govt run by Aam Aadmi Party, and called upon the party leaders and coordinators to work hard over the next two years to strengthen the party organization and reach every voter of Goa.
Gupta congratulated the Goa team for having so many elected representatives in Goa at every level of governance, and exhorted the volunteers to ensure that the next Govt of Goa is of Aam Aadmi Party.
Gupta also introduced the newly-appointed Sah-Prabharis for Goa, namely Deepak Singla, Abhash Chandela and Ankush Narang.
On the dais were MLAs Engr. Cruz Silva, Capt. Venzy Viegas, State President Adv. Amit Palekar, Working Presidents Gerson Gomes and Valmiki Naik, ZP member Joseph Pimenta, Sarpanch Avita Temudo (Dramapur), ex-Sarpanch Selu Fernandes (Varca) and panch members Piety Cardozo (San Jose do Areal), Valerie Fernandes (Sarzora), Joao Dcosta (Carmona), and Santan Dcosta (Dramapur).
