Panaji: Goa’s table tennis fraternity is gearing up for an exciting showdown as the DBO–Edcon All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025 returns to the Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim, from October 22 to 25. The four-day event will feature competitions across multiple categories including U11, U15, U17 (Boys and Girls), and Senior Men and Women, promising intense matches and strong participation from the state’s leading paddlers.
Among the star attractions are Ishita Colaso, Aaron Farias, Anshuman Agarwal, and Chandan Caro, who will headline the championship. Rising talents like Vedant Wagle, Yug Prabhu, Ruhaan Shaikh, Dhruva Kamat, Neeza Kamat, and Yuvaan Sanke are also expected to make their mark, along with former State champion Prutha Parrikar.
In the Boys U11 category, the top seeds are Ishaan Colaso, Ashank Dalvi, and Aarish Shaikh, while Shaurya Dessai, Claire George, and Tvisha Kotkar lead the Girls U11 competition. The Boys U15 draw will feature Chandan Caro, Dhruva Kamat, and Ruhaan Shaikh as the top contenders, with Ishita Colaso, Aarna Lotlikar, and Gianna George leading the Girls U15 group. In the Boys U17 section, Chandan Caro, Dhruva Kamat, and Chinmay Bhakare occupy the top spots, while the Girls U17 category will see Ishita Colaso, Neeza Kamat, and Aayushi Amonkar vying for top honours.
In the senior categories, Aaron Farias, Chandan Caro, and Ruhaan Shaikh are the top three seeds in Men’s Singles, while Ishita Colaso, Neeza Kamat, and Anushri Naik lead the Women’s Singles line-up.
The return of the tournament marks a special moment for the Don Bosco Oratory, one of Goa’s most historic table tennis venues. The event, supported by Edcon Constructions, aims to revive the legacy of the Oratory, which has nurtured generations of Goan paddlers. Organisers hope the 2025 edition will inspire renewed enthusiasm for the sport and reignite the vibrant table tennis culture that once defined the Panjim venue.
