Panaji: Goa’s leading table tennis stars are set to battle it out at the YMCA All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled from August 18 to 24, 2025, at the Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji. The championship, organised under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association (GTTA), has drawn over 350 entries, making it one of the state’s biggest table tennis events.
Among the headline names are Aaron Farias, Chandan Caro, and Ishita Colaco, who will be joined by former state champions Dheeraj Rai, Manish Yadav, and Reagan Pinto. The girls’ section will feature exciting young talents such as Pradnya Caro, Neeza Kamat, and Urvi Surlakar, while emerging players including Ruhaan Shaikh, Vedant Wagle, Yug Prabhu, Dhruva Kamat, Samaira Soares, and Anushri Naik are expected to make a strong impression.
Competition will be held across multiple categories—U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, Seniors (Men & Women), Veterans Doubles, and Para Table Tennis—ensuring a packed schedule of high-intensity clashes.
The seeding chart highlights some of Goa’s brightest prospects: Ishaan Colaso (Boys U11), Ruhaan Shaikh (Boys U13), Chandan Caro (Boys U15), Rishan Shaikh (Boys U17), and Aaron Farias (Boys U19 & Men’s Singles) in the boys’ divisions, while Anaya Shukla (Girls U11), Aarna Lotlikar, Aayushi Amonkar & Sachi Dessai (Girls U13), Ishita Colaco (Girls U15 & U17), and Neeza Kamat (Girls U19 & Women’s Singles) lead the girls’ categories.
“YMCA Panjim has always been the stage for one of Goa’s most awaited ranking tournaments, and this edition promises top-quality action across all age groups,” said Christopher Menezes, Secretary of GTTA, who also praised the efforts of Alvito D’Silva, principal coordinator, and Clyde Lobo, President of YMCA Panjim, for ensuring smooth organisation.
With a blend of established champions and upcoming stars, the tournament is expected to deliver a week of thrilling contests for Goa’s table tennis fans.
