In a great achievement, which will make every Goan proud, Goa’s son of the soil Major Clifford D’Souza was awarded Northern Army Commander’s Citation For Counter Terrorist Operations in Kashmir Valley proper.
Major Clifford D’Souza is from Bardez Siolim, a Goemkar born brought up in Goa.
Speaking to goemkarponn.com, mother of the Mrs Celeste D’Souza she was very happy and proud of his son’s achievement.
“I am very proud of my son’s achievement. He was always a brave boy and we knew he would make us all proud one day,” she said.
