VASCO: Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho on Thursday afternoon hit out at the Goencho Awaaz party calling them bankrupt in terms of visions, thoughts and political issues
Godinho was speaking to reporters at a function in Chicalim Sub District Hospital where ITC distributed oxygen commentators to the hospital under CSR.
Godinho said that with elections approaching, many dead and stale issues will be got up to mislead the people
“It is very clear that land acquired for parking was acquired wrongly and had to be reversed which was done. The issue is long dead and buried and it only shows how they are roaming with dead issues. This shows bankruptcy in their thought and issues and as elections approach closer, they will come with more of such empty stale issues because they cannot get anything concrete to pull this government down. I feel sad for such utterances from them” said Godinho.
Godinho added that he would also distribute bonus salaries to ground staff of Chicalim SDH to motivate them
“We have seen how many people have come forward to donate state of art equipment under CSR. This hospital will provide the best facilities and at the same time, we are giving a one-month salary bonus to all staff of the hospital to motivate them. This bonus salary for three months is arranged under CSR through Anand Bose. We have paid last month bonus salaries, we will pay this month salaries and also pay bonus salaries for the next month to motivate the health staff and also recognize their great work. Besides this I have also spoken to absorb this staff under Goa Human Resources department,” said Godinho.
