Ponda: Ponda Police have registered a theft case following a complaint regarding the stealing of gold ornaments from a residence at Queula, Dhavali, in Ponda.
According to the complaint lodged by Vinayak Naik, a resident of Ponda, the theft occurred between November 21, 2025 and December 18, 2025, at his house located at TNK, Queula, Dhavali, Ponda. During the said period, unknown accused person/s allegedly committed theft of several gold ornaments belonging to the complainant’s wife.
The stolen ornaments include a gold mangalsutra, two gold necklaces, a fake toda, two gold finger rings, a pair of gold earrings, a gold mang tika, a gold nath, and five pairs of gold bangles.
Ponda Police have taken up the case and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sushant Gaonkar of Ponda Police Station.
