PANAJI: The Government of Goa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) to strengthen the state’s emergency and disaster preparedness.
Under this MoU, MDL will provide various Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technologies for early warning and disaster detection systems.
The collaboration also includes the development of live detection systems, state-of-the-art rescue equipment, satellite-based asset management systems, and advanced emergency communication systems.
This initiative aims to ensure faster coordination, seamless communication, and enhanced disaster resilience for the state of Goa.
