PANAJI: Goa Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has extended warm Easter greetings to the people of Goa, especially the Christian community, emphasizing the festival’s message of hope, renewal, and peace.
In his message, the Governor said, “The celebration of Easter commemorates the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Apostle of Peace, on the third day after his crucifixion. Easter is a sacred festival that symbolizes hope, renewal, and the triumph of life over adversity. It reminds us of the values of compassion, forgiveness, and faith, which are essential in building a harmonious and inclusive society.”
He urged the people of Goa to reaffirm their commitment to follow the path shown by Jesus Christ, uphold values that unite the community, and work toward the continued progress and prosperity of the State.
“On this auspicious occasion, I wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter,” the Governor concluded.
The message was released by the Department of Information & Publicity, Government of Goa, highlighting the importance of celebrating Easter with faith, joy, and a spirit of service.
