PANAJI: Goa Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, highlighting the values symbolised by Lord Shri Ram.
In his message, the Governor said the sacred festival marks the birth of Lord Shri Rama, who represents righteousness, virtue, compassion and ideal leadership. He noted that Lord Rama, revered as “Maryada Purushottam,” continues to inspire people to follow truth, justice, humility and devotion in daily life.
The Governor further urged citizens to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of Dharma and work together to promote peace, harmony and prosperity in society. He expressed hope that the festival would bring happiness, good health and well-being to all and guide people on the path of righteousness.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also extended Ram Navami greetings. In his message, he shared a Sanskrit verse praising Lord Ram and conveyed heartfelt wishes on the occasion of “Maryadapurushottam Bhagwan Shri Ram Janmotsav,” also known as Ram Navami.
