Panaji: Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju said the Constitution remains the guiding light of the nation, reflecting ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
He emphasised the importance of citizens actively upholding these values to strengthen democratic institutions.
Highlighting India’s long-term vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, the Governor noted that Goa has aligned itself with this roadmap through its strategy Viksit Goa 2037, focusing on inclusive development, decentralisation, public safety, social justice, and sustainable growth.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant praised the unity and active participation of citizens in state development. He stressed collective responsibility in advancing Goa’s social, economic, and environmental sectors, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive growth, good governance, and the welfare of all residents.
Both leaders underscored the role of citizens in ensuring sustainable progress and building a stronger, equitable, and prosperous Goa.
