PANJIM: MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar today said that Governor Satya Pal Malik transfer is a ‘big loss’ to the people of Goa.
Reacting to the development, the former Minister also alleged that the transfer is a fallout of possible expose of BJP led government, in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) report submitted to the Excellency.
‘ Transfer of Satya Pal Malik is a big loss to people of Goa. He was a true leader who stood strong with truth and pulled up government on their every failure,” Dhavalikar said.
The MLA claimed that the Governor must have come across several hidden truths of this government through the IB report.
“And this is the reason why he has been transferred,” he maintained.
Malik has been transferred to Meghalaya, while the Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari will discharge the functions as Governor of Goa.
