Panaji: Following objections by the Opposition, the Goa Legislative Assembly session has been extended by two days while declaring a holiday on Maundy Thursday on March 1.
The revised schedule of the Assembly by the says “The Governor of Goa by his order dated 23d February, 2021 has summoned the Seventh Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa to commence its Fourteenth Session on Wednesday, 24 March, 2021”.
However, since there was criticism from Opposition for holding session on Thursday Maundy Thursday, the session has been revised.
“The House will not have sitting on Thursday, 01 April 2021. The sitting of Assembly Session is extended for two days i.e. Thursday, 15 April and Friday, 16 April, 2021. The Bulletin Part-II bearing Nos. 226 to 234 dated Wednesday, 24 February, 2021 is revised and re-circulated with the effected changes,” the order says.

The Fourteenth Session of the Seventh Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa will have 13 sittings on the following days:
