MIRAMAR: The Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that his government has been carrying forward the developmental vision initiated by late Parrikar.
“We have completed almost all the developmental projects envisioned by him during his tenure as Chief Minister,” he said.
On the anniversary of his birth, Sawant honored former Union Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar at his memorial on Miramar Beach on Friday.
Sawant paid respects to the late Parrikar with the help of State Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira, State Water Resources Department Minister Subhash Shirodkar, and Parrikar’s family members, including his son Utpal and Abhijat.
“Late Parrikar was instrumental in the state’s infrastructural development. After presenting the leader with flowers, Sawant told reporters, “He laid the foundation for the state’s development in an inclusive manner.”
According to the Chief Minister, his administration has been pursuing the developmental goals set forth by the late Parrikar. He declared, “We have finished nearly all of the development projects he had in mind while he was Chief Minister.”
Sawant went on to say that the late Parrikar’s vision served as the inspiration for his government’s new infrastructure development projects.
