PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant informed that the state government is engaged in talks with a private pathology lab to set up testing facilities at Goa’s major railway stations.
“My government is in talks with private path labs to set up testing facilities at Goa’s major railway stations; the positivity rate was likely to drop to five per cent in the coming days,” said CM
He further said that the COVID situation is coming under control, positivity rate is also declining.
“I am sure that by July end, 100 per cent first dose coverage will be done. Those who have taken both the shots of COVID vaccine will be allowed to enter Goa”, he said
CM Sawant also said that tourists who have taken both doses of COVID-19 vaccines would be allowed in Goa.
After reviewing the Coronavirus situation, the Goa government on Friday (July 2) extended the lockdown until July 12.
