MARGAO: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that the state government is proposing various new jetties to facilitate fishing and tourism and not for transportation of any commodity.
“Goa govt is proposing various new jetties to facilitate fishing and tourism; it is not for transportation of any commodity,” said Sawant
He further said that Sagarmala project survey was only done after that MPT decided that it is not feasible in the state of Goa.
“Even if Major Port Bill is passed, it is wrong to say that jetties are for transportation,” he added
However, CM Sawant ruled out any relief on petrol and diesel prices while saying that everything has been increased across country.
