Panaji: Following criticism from various quarters, the State Government has revoked the fee hike in Goa Dental College.
The government had increased fee from Rs 12000 to Rs 1 lakh.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane took to social media to announce the revwrsal of decision.
“With reference to the hike in fees structure at Goa Dental College, it was a matter of communication gap between the Public Health Dept and both the institutions of Goa Dental Colleges,” he said.
“However, we have issued necessary instruction to not increase the fees of both the institutions,” he said.
