PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that the government is looking at roping 130 odd interns from Goa Medical College (GMC) to further augment the states HealthCare facilities.
“To further augment the state’s healthcare facilities, we are looking at roping in 130 odd interns from GMC.” said Rane
He further said that this will enhance our strength in combating the situation arising out of the COVID-19 outbreak in the state.
Rane also visited the Super Specialty Block to review arrangements of the floor that will be commissioned for Covid Care.
“We checked on the arrival of beds, air conditions and other equipment that is yet to arrive During my visit, I also assessed the staff requirement for patient handling and nurses in order to provide state-of-art care.” He added
