Panaji: Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao on Tuesday slammed the government for politicizing the Ayesha case, accusing Chief Minister Pramod Sawant of diverting attention by linking it to love jihad while ignoring police lapses.
Alemao questioned the silence over illegal land conversions despite the government’s push for an anti-conversion law. “The focus should be on justice and accountability, not communal narratives. I will continue to expose this government’s doublespeak,” he said.
