PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today announced that his government immediately begin reconstructing Dev Khapreshwar Temple once committee identifies new place.
“To avoid obstructing flyover construction, we relocated the idol and are performing daily Pooja ceremonies. A new committee has assured us that they will identify a new site and make recommendations” said Sawant
He further said that once that’s done, which should take about two days, government will begin reconstructing the temple and plant a two-year-old banyan tree.
“Our sentiments towards Dev Khapreshwar are the same as of the local people. We will build the temple in the location that they tell us,” said Sawant
