PANAJI: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte today said that the state government under leadership of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is working hard to keep Goa clean.
CM Pramod Sawant, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte along with Amruta Fadnavis – the wife of Maharashtra Deputy CM and actors Jackie Shroff and Karan Kundrra, flags off the #CleanAThon initiative, a clean-up drive at Miramar Beach in the capital.
“Awareness to locals and tourists is very important. responsibility should come from self,” said Khaunte
He further said that leaving in a community allows you to think about self belonging and sense of community building.
“If this is there in every person than he is a responsible citizen. Goa government under leadership of Pramod Sawant takes initiatuve for cleaning all the beaches,” he added
Khaunte said that government is trying hard to keep Goa clean under initiative of Nital Goem.
