PANAJI: The GSB Unity Cup 3.0 is set to return with a full season of competitive cricket, bringing together leading teams and community support at the MCC Ground in Margao. Organised under the banner of the GSB community, the tournament will begin on January 21, 2026, and conclude with the grand final on March 15, 2026.
The tournament will be formally inaugurated on January 21 at 6.30 pm at MCC Margao. The opening ceremony will be led by Akash Khaunte, Title Sponsor of the event and Director of the Alcon Group, as Chief Guest. Rohan Kamat, Director of Kamat Realty, will attend as Guest of Honour. Special Invitees for the evening include Chirag Naik, Managing Director of Commonwealth Developers Pvt. Ltd., and Dr Sagar Salgaocar, Director of Geno Pharmaceuticals.
Key representatives from the sporting and organising bodies will also be present, including Raghuvir Kunkolkar, President of the Margao Cricket Club, Siddhit Raiturkar, President of the GSB Sports and Charitable Trust, and Venkat Biche, Chief Coordinator of the GSB Unity Cup 2026.
The tournament will feature several prominent teams such as Priority Titans, Shamrao Tridents, Ultracon Madgaon Royals, KK Strikers, Rising Stars of Ponda, Commonwealth Fountainhead, DnM Avengers, Dempo Challengers, Vimson Panjim Powerplay and Sinq Rangers. Matches will be scheduled on both weekdays and weekends, with evening games under lights and weekend fixtures planned as morning and afternoon double-headers.
The league phase will be conducted over multiple weeks, culminating in the semi-finals on March 14. The grand final will be played on March 15 at 6.00 pm under floodlights at the MCC Ground.
The GSB Unity Cup 3.0 is backed by strong sponsorship support, with Alcon Anil Counto Enterprises as the Title Sponsor, Commonwealth Developers Pvt. Ltd. as the Platinum Partner, and Diamond Partners including Desserts & More, Devashri Nirman LLP, Priority Constructions and Kamat Realty.
