PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired the 208th Board Meeting of the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) in the presence of Vice Chairman and MLA Kedar Naik and Board Members. The meeting approved the construction of the Tribal Bhavan, marking a significant step towards strengthening inclusive infrastructure in the state. Other major decisions included the adoption of the Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet for the financial year 2024-25, approval of the proposed dividend, appointment of a consultant for the construction of the new Resident Doctors’ Hostel at Goa Medical College (GMC), and approval to invite bids for the construction of Ravindra Bhavan at Tuem. In a strategic move aimed at shaping the next 25 years of GSIDC, the Board also welcomed Pranab Gajanan Bhat (Joint Secretary – Budget), Kabir Krishna Shirgaonkar (Dept. of Information Technology), Abhir Chandrakant Hede (Deputy Director of Mines – II), Shubham Mohan Naik (Deputy Collector), Vivek Naik (Director of Art & Culture), and Sachin Santosh Desai (Director of Environment & Climate Change) as new Board members, recognized for their efficiency and expertise. Dr. Sawant said these initiatives reaffirm GSIDC’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure and fostering sustainable and inclusive growth for Goa.
