Panaji: The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) has invited online bids from eligible contractors and agencies for the construction of the Salvador-do-Mundo–Madel Church (Chorao) Bridge.
According to the tender notice issued by GSIDC, the bids are being invited under a two-bid system on an item-rate basis. The proposed bridge project is estimated to cost ₹274.83 crore.
The bridge is expected to provide improved connectivity to Chorao island and surrounding areas once completed. GSIDC officials said the tendering process has been initiated in accordance with established procurement norms to ensure transparency and competitiveness.
