PANAJI: The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) will host a Monsoon Trekking Expedition to Tonir Cascade in Sattari on 28th September 2025.
The trek covers a distance of 8 kilometers, combining adventure with scenic natural beauty. Participants will pass through the picturesque Mhadei region, crossing rivers and navigating fallen tree trunks, before reaching the Tonir Cascade. The journey is expected to take approximately 1.5 hours of brisk walking, providing an immersive experience of Goa’s monsoon landscapes.
The expedition is open to adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers of all ages. Transport will be arranged from Paryatan Bhavan, Patto, with departure scheduled at 8:00 AM. The registration fee for the trek is Rs 1,400.
Participants are advised to carry an extra set of clothing, rainwear, proper trekking shoes, snacks, and binoculars. Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited to ensure safety and preserve the natural environment.
