Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar, Chairman, GTDC, said, “This agreement is a proud moment for GTDC. By opening up the Farmagudi Residency for the Cyber Commando Training Program, we are showing how our properties can serve both tourism and important national initiatives. This step will help highlight the beauty of Goa’s hinterland and support our ‘Goa Beyond Beaches’ campaign. The upcoming NFSU campus in my constituency will further strengthen these efforts and will be a milestone for Goa.”
Kuldeep Arolkar, Managing Director, GTDC, added*, “We are glad to partner with NFSU for the Cyber Commando Training Program. It is a good example of how GTDC properties can be used in new and meaningful ways. Through this partnership, GTDC is contributing to a national initiative while also showing the versatility of our properties.”
Farmagudi Residency, which will host the training group, is located in Ponda, approximately 26 km from Panaji and 36 km from Dabolim Airport. The property offers spacious rooms, landscaped gardens, and a peaceful environment, making it suitable for both training programs and leisure stays. Room categories are available at varying rates, with standard double rooms at Farmagudi residency.
This collaboration between GTDC and NFSU represents a forward-looking step in integrating tourism infrastructure with initiatives of national importance, while simultaneously promoting sustainable and diversified tourism in Goa.
