PANAJI: Gloan Pednekar, a 27-year-old Tonca-Caranzalem resident, was taken into custody by the Panaji police on suspicion of sexually harassing a woman in February.

Around 10.30 p.m., Pednekar allegedly masturbated while riding a two-wheeler and made offensive comments to the victim, who was also riding a two-wheeler with a companion, in the vicinity of a restaurant in Patto, Panaji.
Later, the woman formally complained to the police and brought up the matter on social media.
